Dr Onuh Sunday Omale (MBBS, FWACS, FMCOG, FICS.) is the chief consultant obstetrician/gynaecologust and Medical Director Deda Hospital Abuja.

Dr Onuh had a very humble beginning being raised in the village. He completed his secondary education from Ochaja Boys’ Secondary School (Benue but now Kogi State) in 1987, thereafter he proceeded to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, graduating in 1993 with the Bachelors of Medicine, Bachelors of Surgery (MBBS) degree. He did his housemanship at the Murtala Muhammed specialist hospital Kano and proceeded to do his mandatory National Youth Service in Edo state – Egba district hospital. He thereafter gained admission into the University of Benin Teaching hospital in 1998 where he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, graduating in October / November 2002. He obtained some superspecialist training in Artificial Reproductive Technology in Copenhagen University Hospital Herlev, Denmark 2005.

Dr Onuh gained employment in Nisa Premier Hospital Abuja in 2003 as a consultant Obstetrician/ Gyneacologist and rose to the position of Medical director within 2 years of employment – a position he held till 2012. Dr Onuh is the founder of Deda hospital Abuja and has been the Medical Director and chief executive officer since 2012.

Dr Onuh is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeon (OBGYN Faculty), Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fellow of the International College of Surgeons. He is a faculty and resource person in many post graduate training institutes. He has authored and co -authored: several original and reviewed articles in both local and international peer reviewed journals ; several chapters in reputable scientific text books in obstetrics and gynaecology. He is also a reviewer to many scientific journals. He is a member of various professional bodies locally and internationally

Dr Sunday Onuh is presently the chief consultant obstetrician and Gynecologist, Lead fertility specialist, lead endoscopic surgeon, and medical director Deda hospital Abuja Nigeria.

He is a minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Desire of Nations parish Abuja with a passion for Missions and Worship
